About Our Tours

Japan Ireland Travel offers both guided (Small Group Tours Japan) or self guided tour (Independent Travel Plans Japan) options.

Small Group Tours Japan:

If you want to get more than just a holiday out of your trip to Japan, then we recommend you take part in a small group escorted tour. Our tours are different to group tours that one associates mass tourism with. They are small and somewhat intimate. We don’t care for large volume based tours. Our main objective with our small tours is to ensure that each and every passenger on board gets what they came for – a holiday of a lifetime!

Japan is not a cheap destination. We appreciate this. We realise that not everyone can afford to go to Japan. But for those who can, we hope to give them a completely different type of holiday. A holiday where they can learn a new culture by going behind the tourist trails into rural towns, speaking with locals (tour buddy acts as interpreter), staying in local accommodation types when possible, and using public transport mixed with private. If traveling with us, you will experience a different Japan, to that if on your own.

Independent Travel Plans Japan:

Our independent travel plans on the other hand offer similar services, all without the tour buddy. The idea behind our independent plans is for you to explore on your own, the same type of holidays as our small group tours, by following our maps, our itinerary, and most of all, our advice. By doing this, you can get more out of your trip than doing it alone.
